The Woman's Exchange, at 88 Racine Street, is always a magical place. Their shop, filled with fabulous hand-crafted items created by local artists, is famous for its outstanding selection of gifts for all ages. And their award-winning tea room is known far and wide for the delicious lunch it serves up in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere unlike anything else in the city. But I like to think this Thursday, December 7th, will be even more special--because Roxie and I will both be there! (I'll be signing books, she'll be be checking out the mind-boggling array of gifts. She'll also, no doubt, be sneaking a peak at the treats coming out of the kitchen, and, of course, trying hard NOT to be seen by humans!)
"Roxie's Fairy Adventure at The Peabody" is the story of a little river fairy with a big dream--and the "can do" attitude to make it happen. She dreams of exploring the South's grand hotel, The Peabody. But fairies are NOT allowed to be seen by humans, so she enlists the help of five very special friends, the Peabody ducks. Together they work to make her dream come true.
I can't wait to meet you --and introduce you to Roxie--Thursday, December 7th from 11 to 2 at one of Memphis’ oldest and finest centers of hospitality, the Woman's Exchange!
